A Major Thai Bank
Stream recommends and implements a Retail Internet Banking system for a major Thai bank using Broadvision One-to-One Enterprise and Broadvision One-to-One Financials.
The solution implemented provides rich banking transactions sets as well as bank statement download, payroll upload, bills presentment, funds transfer to third party, scheduled bill pay, scheduled funds transfer and alert features.
The bank customer can view up to 15 different account details in one summary screen.
Stream also works with the bank to design and automate the majority of internet banking related back-office work processes.
Streams Roles and Responsibilities
Stream was responsible for the integration to 6 legacy applications (deposits, loans, credit card and ATM). Broadvision Applications and Database servers are both NT. Stream used the EAI that we have built for the bank.
Stream is responsible for production fine-tuning. The system response time is acceptable by the bank based on the benchmark set by the bank.
Stream works with the bank to establish the business process necessary for the operations of their newly established e commerce business unit, while observing the bank's security and audit policies. Stream provides assistance to the bank for the Bank of Thailand approval process.
Subsequent to the initial launch, Stream implements ATM PIN verification as the next steps in making retail internet banking more widely available to the banks customers. Stream has since won another project at the bank for mobile banking for SMS and WAP.
Benefits
The bank was able to serve needs of both their consumer and SME client base. With the launch of the new easy access, functions rich, electronic channel, the bank was able to reposition itself as Thailands leading, modern retail bank.
The bank expands these capabilities into other modern electronic channels to provide convenient access for its client base anywhere, anytime. |
