Consulting participated in the Executive Lunch Forum 2026, organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society and Thai Digital Technology User Group Association (DUGA), at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok on 31 August 2026. The event provided a platform for exchanging perspectives on digital technology, data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), while exploring the evolution of the public sector from Connected Government towards Intelligent Government—where technology and data can be effectively applied to enhance government operations and deliver tangible improvements in public services.

The forum featured Dr. Soontaree Songserm, Senior Executive Vice President at the Big Data Institute (Public Organization), who shared her perspectives in the session, “Connected Government in Action: Operationalizing the Next Generation of Public Services.” The session explored practical approaches to implementing Connected Government at the operational level to support the development of next-generation public services.
Today, the public sector is moving towards an era of Connected Government, with a growing emphasis on connecting data, systems, and services across government agencies. This integration is essential to improving operational efficiency, reducing duplication, and enabling public services to respond to citizens’ needs with greater speed, agility, and effectiveness. The key challenge of Connected Government, therefore, extends beyond the selection of technology. It also lies in ensuring that each agency’s data, processes, and operations can be connected, integrated, and effectively utilized in practice. The discussion highlighted the role of Data Ecosystems and Operational Intelligence in supporting modern public-sector management, as well as the importance of interoperability and data integration in enabling seamless, end-to-end public services.
The session also addressed approaches to reducing operational silos to strengthen collaboration across government agencies, along with a vision for the future of data-driven public services, where data is leveraged to support better decision-making and enhance the citizen experience.

Another key highlight of the forum was the session “From Zero to One: Powering the Intelligent Government with AI – Better Decisions, Better Public Services,” presented by Mr. Nattapong Wanawongsawad, Executive Vice President of Stream I.T. Consulting Co., Ltd.
