Consulting, in collaboration with Netpoleon, recently hosted an exclusive seminar titled “Sonatype & OpenText Product Update” to showcase the latest trends and solutions in Cybersecurity and Supply Chain Security. The event highlighted cutting-edge technologies from global leaders Sonatype and OpenText, aimed at empowering organizations to effectively mitigate digital risks. The seminar took place at Hyde & Seek Restaurant on May 15.
Mr. Nopphachai Tangthanawiroot, Solutions Architect at Netpoleon, delivered a keynote on “Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensuring Global Security Standards with Fortify by OpenText” His session focused on best practices for complying with international security standards using the Fortify solution. Fortify offers comprehensive capabilities including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA), enabling organizations to detect and remediate vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle and enhance overall application security.
Representing Sonatype, Ms. Poh Ing Tang, Regional Account Manager, introduced proactive strategies for managing risks associated with open-source components. As a leading platform in Software Supply Chain Management and Application Security, Sonatype enables organizations to identify, analyze, and control the use of third-party libraries, significantly reducing risks associated with using vulnerable or non-compliant components.
Mr. Nopphachai also led an additional session titled “Proactive Supply Chain Risk Management with Sonatype” emphasizing the growing importance of managing software supply chain risks. He noted that many organizations are increasingly aware of the threats posed by external components, which can critically impact overall system security.
