Responsibilities
- Develops and/or modifies application software to support business and customer requirements
- Performs and/or supports installation of application software in test and production environment of customer
- Supports maintenance of application software in production environment of customer
- Determine the root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions
- Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management
- Follow the software development lifecycle
- As Mentor development team to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/ Information Technology or related fields
- Minimum 3-5 Year Experience in Java Developer
- Professional experience designing, programming, and implementing information technology systems
- Experienced with OOP design, Web Services, SQL Database queries and stored procedures
- Experience in Java, JavaScript framework and libraries such as angular React Native, React.JS
- Experienced with JAVA application protocols and frameworks such as JDBC, REST/SOAP API, Oauth2, Spring Boot, J2EE
- Experience or knowledge in SQL scripting, MSSQL will be an advantage
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Insurance or Banking Business knowledge will be an advantage
